| Description: | Animal Health International is a premier animal health products distributor offering cattle, equine, poultry, swine and companion animal products and supplies. We are seeking an experienced Regional Replenishment Manager to join our team in Greeley, Colorado. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a large, stable and growing organization using state-of-the-art SAP systems. |
| Duties: | • Work with the replenishment analyst to order and maintain sufficient inventory levels in each region location
• Work with the Sales and Purchasing Departments to define regional assortments
• Coordinate the purchasing activities for each region location including seasonal build-ups, year-end buy-ins, and recommend quantities on allocated products
• Work with the Buyers to develop allocation plans for the locations within the assigned region
• Monitor the region inventory and implement corrective action plans on:
Dead Inventory Back Orders
Excess Inventory Ordering Patterns
• Train and develop the Replenishment Analysts for the Region
• Work with A/P on any cost discrepancies with the manufacturers
• Maintain a calendar of recurring events or unusual weather occurrence for the region and communicate to the appropriate people
• Communicate any unusual events impacting the market or inventory levels to the Purchasing Department
• Monitor and develop ways to reduce associated freight expenses on incoming inventory
• Support the sales force by answering questions on inventory positions for the customers and/or direct the call to the appropriate person to handle product information
• Serve as backup for Replenishment Analyst when needed

| Qualifications: | • Minimum 3 years experience with replenishment or inventory control
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory/management experience preferred
• Experience in the Animal Health Industry preferred
• Purchasing experience preferred
• Two year business degree, and/or related college level courses preferred.
• Experience may be substituted for formal education
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Sound analytical skills
